DANIEL ZAWITOSKI is a 10-year veteran of the Hill, spending his entire service with Representative Scott Peters (CA-50), a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee. He served as Peters’ senior policy advisor across a wide range of issues including trade, health policy, and the innovation economy, and was Peters’ lead negotiator for the Inflation Reduction Act. He was also Peters’ chief advisor in his leadership roles with the New Democrat Coalition, helping to mentor new staff, and achieve key policy priorities for the Coalition and its members. Zawitoski has a Bachelor of the Arts in History from Colby College and a masters degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.
